Aims and Scope

AE-FUNAI Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (FJHSS) provides an excellent open access outlet for research and scholarship in the broad areas of humanities and social sciences. The journal aims to publish high-quality original articles of a multi-disciplinary and inter disciplinary nature as well as strong empirical/ conceptual paper (that integrate critique and expand existing theory) which have relevant and insightful intellectual contributions to make about the Humanities and Social Sciences. In essence, the journal particularly welcome high quality research papers that seek to explicitly combine ideas from different disciplines, in order to develop new perspectives and insights. We are committed to providing an efficient service for both authors and readers. A streamlined peer-review system, together with the support of a highly experienced Editorial Board, allows us to make rapid and fair publication decisions. Traditional disciplines to be covered include but not limited to the following: Business and Management Studies, Economics, Anthropology, Criminology, History, International Relations, Media Studies, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology, Linguistics, Literature, Performing arts (Music, Theatre & Dance), Religious Studies and Visual arts.

Indexing and Impact Factor

FJHSS will be seeking an impact factor as early as possible, working in line with the Journal Citation Reports’ normal procedures. We also aim to apply for inclusion in the following major indexing services:
